Hi, I’m Kate…

My love of movement started with dance. Always dancing around the house as a small child I began Ballet, Jazz and Hip-Hop lessons, which eventually lead me to the U.K. where I completed a 3 year Professional Dance Diploma at Performers College, Essex.

It was here that I discovered Pilates, but it wasn’t until an injury that I really understood its benefits. Gaining an internationally recognised qualification through STOTT Pilates in London, I went on to teach at a variety of renowned studios across the city, becoming Head Trainer of one of the leading London studios, Tempo Pilates.

Having moved back to Dublin in 2016 I continued to teach group Reformer, Tower Pilates and Barre fitness classes alongside my private training clients.

With qualifications in Mat and Reformer Pilates, Pre and Post Natal training, Pink Ribbon cancer rehabilitation, TRX, Barre fitness and more, I share my love of movement in every session with an attention to detail and passion that I hope will leave you feeling grounded, stronger, revitalised and ready to take on the day.

“I can’t recommend this Pilates class enough. Kate is absolutely amazing, her energy, knowledge, and attention to detail really set her apart. She creates such a welcoming and supportive environment, whether you’re a complete beginner or more experienced. Every class is thoughtfully structured, with a great balance of challenge and encouragement, and I always leave feeling stronger, more aligned, and refreshed. She takes the time to ensure everyone is using the correct form, which makes a huge difference, and her passion for what she does really shines through. I genuinely look forward to every session — it’s one of the highlights of my week. If you’re thinking about trying Pilates, this is the class you want to be in!”

“Kate as an 83 year old I want to thank you for working with me to improve my mobility evidenced in my improved golf swing. Thank you” - Judy

“I have attended Kate's classes, and taken private sessions with her, for some years now. Her classes are always interesting, (appropriately!) challenging, motivating and genuinely enjoyable. Her communication skills are second to none; an important skill in circumstances where in some positions you may not be able to see her and so be entirely dependent on verbal instructions. She has incredible attention to detail, always ensuring that all participants are working safely and effectively and, if any element of the class is too challenging for any particular participant, she is very quick to identify that and offer an alternative, achieving the perfect balance between challenge and support. I also love the private sessions; they really help me work through any more specific challenges I am experiencing in a more directed way; solutions can often be found in these sessions to particularly challenging issues. I had recently had some back pain (referred pain from a different issue) and not only did the session not aggravate the issue; it really helped in resolving it.”
